Jewelry store workers take down would-be robber

Workers at a jewelry store in Morristown took down a suspected thief before he could get away with $60,000 worth of merchandise.
Investigators say 33-year-old Michael Rosario, of Belleville, tried to steal three 18-carat gold Rolex watches from Braunschweiger Jewelry. Employees say Rosario knocked down one of the workers before making a dash to the door. The manager says two other workers managed to knock Rosario to the ground and hold him until police arrived. Employees say Rosario had a tight grip on the watches even after police arrived.
The manager of the store says he is grateful for his brave employees. However, police say they discourage people from taking on a robber. The store is now reviewing its security procedures.
