NJ toy store predicts hottest items this holiday season
With the holiday season rapidly approaching, some parents are already hitting the stores to pick up toys for their children. One Wayne-based toy store manager is predicting what he thinks will be the hottest items this year.
Toys R Us store manager Eugene Bressette says toys connected to the Internet are big this year. According to Bressette, old favorites, such as Barbie, with a high-tech twist are among the favorites.
He also says any item tied into television shows and movies are popular. Paraphernalia from ?Hannah Montana,? ?The Cheetah Girls? and ?High School Musical? are expected to be big sellers. ?Transformers? are also expected to make a comeback this year thanks to the blockbuster movie.
Wal-Mart has already cut toy prices to attract early-bird shoppers.
