Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after fire tore through a North Brunswick pastor's home Sunday.
All four members of the Nam family, living at 10 Hickory Ln., were able to escape the blaze.
Three fire companies arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames. Mayor Jim Cahill says the fire is being investigated by authorities, but suspicious activity is not believed to have been involved.
The family was too upset to discuss the incident with News 12 New Jersey, but neighbors say their hearts go out to the Nams.
"What a terrible thing. It's bad to begin with, but around the holidays it's ? worse," said neighbor Lorrain Gagliano.
