Stabbing in Brick sparks multi-county manhunt
Police in multiple departments are searching for a Brick man suspected of stabbing his wife and son with a pocket knife.
According to police, 45-year-old Christopher Fasano stabbed his both wife and 10-year-old son in the hands Sunday night. Investigators say he then fled from Brick to the Garden State Parkway in a white pickup truck with the license plate number S-A-L-9-5-L.
Police say Fasano has a home or at least a place to stay in Pennsylvania.
Investigators say police from Holmdel and Middletown got involved in the search. Fasano is accused of sideswiping a police car in Holmdel.
Fasano is considered armed and dangerous. Police describe Fasano as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 140 lbs.
Fasano is facing a variety of charges, including burglary and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Fasano's wife and son are expected to be fine.
