Outdoor workers in NJ bundle up amid frigid temps

As the temperatures plummeted over the weekend and into Monday, many outdoor workers in the Garden State bundled up for work.
Experts recommend staying indoors in the frigid temperatures, but some people have no choice. Edison firefighters had to battle the flames and cold weather Monday.
?It does take a toll on the men,? Edison Deputy Fire Chief Ralph Ambrosio says. ?We get them out of here as quick as possible.?
Meanwhile, there is still ice covering some roads in Linden from Saturday?s water main break.
Residents who didn?t have to be outside still ventured out so they could run errands. Despite the bone-chilling freeze, some people said the weather doesn?t really bother them that much.
No matter what the reason to be outside, experts say everyone should wear layers and cover their extremities.
