Two separate shootings on one street sent four men to the hospital Saturday.
The victims were connected by the type of car they were traveling in on Stuyvesant Avenue at the time of the shootings. Police believe the suspect was targeting someone driving a dark Oldsmobile Aurora.
According to investigators, the first incident involved a driver from Edison who was shot in his car. The man was able to drive himself to the hospital after being hit, according to police.
Police say three men from Plainfield were also shot down the street as they rode in a similar vehicle. The car crashed into a pole after the bullets were fired.
