2nd man charged in missing mom case

(AP) - A second man has been charged in connection with the case of a Mercer County woman who went missing last June and is presumed dead.
John A. Russo, Jr. of Staten Island is accused of tampering with evidence. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office declined to release details, citing the ongoing investigation.
The charges against Russo were announced Friday, just one day after 33-year-old Rosario DiGirolamo was charged with murdering 27-year-old Amy Giordano of Hightstown, who was his mistress. Her body has not been found.
Giordano vanished last June two days before the couple's 11-month-old son was found abandoned in a hospital parking lot in Delaware.
