Lodi family still not in home a year after flooding

It has been a year since the April 2007 nor?easter washed away part of a retaining wall in Lodi. And while most of the residents forced to flee their home have moved back, one family is still in limbo.
The storm caused severe flooding and heavy damage to a retaining wall on Farnham Avenue. The city forced some residents to move out for their safety. Leo Fuentes says he is still waiting for the city to let him move back.
Fuentes and his family have been renting a town home since they were forced out. However, Fuentes says the bills are piling up. He has filed a lawsuit against the neighbors who own the retaining wall and the borough of Lodi for not fixing it.
Fuentes? case goes before a mediator in Hackensack Tuesday.
