Reputed gang members crash Princeton party

Police say they arrested three known gang members accused of crashing a Princeton dance and attacking students.
According to police, the three men were arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The suspects allegedly assaulted three students after a female victim refused a sexual advance.
School officials say the suspects may have been able to get into the party, held at a dining hall, since it was a pre-freshman weekend with many extra people on campus.
"It does seem there was some confusion about checking IDs," said university spokesperson Cass Cliatt.
Cliatt also called the situation an isolated incident. Police, however, say the men have been on campus in the past and caused trouble before.
The suspects have been released on bail.
