(05/08/08) UNION CITY - Interpol says U.S. authorities have detained a suspected pedophile in Union City two days after the international police agency called for public help to catch him. The police agency on Thursday identified the suspect as Wayne Nelson Corliss, an actor who goes by the stage name ?Casey Wayne.? Interpol says the man is suspected of sexually abusing at least three young boys from Southeast Asia. It says photos seized by police in Norway in 2006 showed the man's alleged abuse. The boys are thought to have been as young as 6 to 10 years old.Police seized a number of evidence pieces from Corliss? apartment, including five computers. One of those computers allegedly contains more than 1,000 images of child pornography.

Police say they also confiscated several pairs of boys? underwear, including an alleged souvenir from a trip to Thailand.

Authorities say Corliss confessed Wednesday to having sex with boys in Thailand. He has been charged with one count of child pornography production so far.
