Cops: Domestic dispute lead to woman's death at YMCA

Police say a domestic dispute lead to the death Thursday of a woman near the pool of the Montclair YMCA.

Police say the woman was shot about 6:30 p.m. and that kids were in the pool when the shots rang out.

At an evening news conference, police officials and Essex County Prosecutor Paula Dow recounted a history of domestic dispute between the victim and her former partner. Police are now searching for him in connection with the slaying.

Police say the couple, who had two children, no longer lived together.
