3-alarm fire tears through row home in Paterson
Firefighters battled a three-alarm fire Tuesday that threatened several row homes in Paterson.Officials say the blaze started at around 4:30 a.m. on Highland Street. According to officials, one home was destroyed in the blaze and residents in nearby homes had to evacuate.Fire officials say the blaze broke out at an abandoned home. Sources tell News 12 New Jersey that there was another fire at the same home a few days ago and there is speculation that the people who used to live there may have started the blaze.Officials say smoke alarms at the neighboring homes were working and no one was injured.
