Bergen police departments team up to catch vandals

Police in Lodi, Saddle Brook and Garfield are trying to track down the group of vandals responsible for destroying private property in the area.

Police say lawn ornaments and concrete benches were thrown through the windows of cars and homes on Gaston Avenue and Emanuel Street.

Garfield Police Chief Kevin Amos says witnesses have given descriptions of vehicles that were in the area and that police will look into all of them.

In Lodi, a Mercedes was damaged after a large concrete bench was thrown onto the trunk. Another vehicle in Saddle Brook was also damaged.
