Boy recovering after collision with deer

A Monmouth County boy is recovering Saturday after an encounter with a deer.

Eddie Coughlin says he was walking across a street to get his sister when he ran into the deer at about 10 p.m. recently. Coughlin says he was confused by the collision and didn?t know what happened until his sister saw the animal run off.

"He ran right into my jaw ? so I landed on the side of my head," says Coughlin, 13.

Now sidelined for the rest of the summer as he heals, Coughlin must eat soft foods and isn't allowed to play. He says, however, that he's up to date on all the latest video games.

One game his mother says he won't be playing is manhunt.
