House fire kills Florham Park man

A house fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon has left one person dead and three hospitalized.

Authorities say the fire was reported at around 4:20 p.m. They say it started on a deck at the back of the house and then ripped through the home at 45 Mann Ave. Investigators are not sure how the fire started, but they don?t think it was arson.

The fire killed homeowner Robert Juliano. However, his wife, Cathy, their 19-year-old daughter, Tara and a family friend made it out. The three survivors were taken to a hospital.

Neighbors say they heard a commotion and came outside. They say the fire looked the heaviest toward the back of the house.

People who know the Juliano family say they have a teenage son who was not home during the fire.
