Boy Scouts rescued at Grand Canyon return to N.J.

A Boy Scouts troop from Maplewood that was rescued from flooding at the Grand Canyon is back home.The troop landed Thursday morning at Newark Airport after being rescued on Sunday. Six boys and three adults from troop 21 were among nearly 200 people that were saved.The troop spent an entire year planning its trip to the Grand Canyon and lost thousands of dollars worth of camping equipment. Family members say they are just glad everyone is OK.The scouts say they can't wait to sleep in their own beds and one scout says he is looking forward to a steak dinner. A homecoming ceremony was also held Thursday afternoon for the troop.N.J. Boy Scouts rescued from Grand Canyon
