Authorities say all 4 Irvington fire victims were shot

(AP) - All four victims found in a burning house inIrvington on Monday were shot.

That's the conclusion of the Essex County medical examiner.

Two of the victims were severely burned in the fire and have yetto be officially identified. Authorities say the assailant set thefire to try and cover up the crime.

Among the victims were 13-year-old Latrisha Fields-Carruthersand 18-year-old Zakiyyah Jones. Both died from gunshot wounds atUniversity Hospital.

Neighbors said an unidentified person entered the house andthere was an argument, followed by gunshots, before the fire brokeout.

The Essex County Sheriff's Office is offering a $10,000 rewardin the search for the killer.
