Police: Bronx man buried ex-girlfriend in Teaneck

Police say a Bronx man has confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend and burying her remains in Teaneck.Officials say 28-year-old Jaritza Calderone went to 32-year-old Julio Flores' home Saturday to pick up her cable TV box. According to officials, they got into an argument and Flores claims he then killed her. Police say Flores, a day laborer, buried her remains at a construction site he was working at in Teaneck. According to police, a nearby homeowner notified authorities about Flores after seeing a man acting suspiciously at the home.The Daily News has reported that Flores called Calderone's family and told them that they would never see her again.
Flores is being held on $1 million bail at the Bergen County Jail and was charged with burglary, hindering apprehension and desecrating a body. He is expected to return to New York to face other charges, including murder.
