Firefighters and EMS responders pulled a woman from a sinking car in Newark Bay Wednesday.
Police say Judith Matusaitis, 66, drove her Mercury Sedan through a wooden guard rail between Bayonne High School and Veteran's Stadium. Divers from a police boat joined responders in their frantic scramble to pull the woman from the water.
Matusaitis is recovering at Bayonne Medical Center, where she is in stable condition.

"They only had a couple minutes to deal with it, they got their quick and they got her out," says Johnson.
