Fire tears through home in Union City

An early morning fire in Hudson County has left several people injured.The blaze broke out at a home at the intersection of 11th Street and Central Avenue. Police officers rushed in to save the four people living in the home. An 11-year-old girl and her father both suffered severe burns in the blaze and are listed in critical condition. They are being treated at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston.Three police officers were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Hoboken for injuries due to the fire. Fire officials say several firefighters were also injured battling the blaze.
