Elizabeth rocked by 2 murders in 2 days

Union County prosecutors are investigating after the body of a Somerset County woman was found in a burning car Tuesday.
Officials were called to the scene of a car fire and found the body of 35-year-old Tanya Worthy inside the vehicle on Neck Lane. Worthy was the widow of a state trooper who died nine years ago. An autopsy is being performed to determine how Worthy died, but prosecutors are already calling her death a homicide.
Gail Julal, a waitress at John's Place Restaurant in Newark, says Worthy placed a to-go order at the restaurant on Tuesday night, but never returned to pick it up.
Worthy ran a business out of her Green Brook home, according to her friends. Her neighbors say she was extremely nice and helpful.
Police say another murder took place on Coakley Circle Wednesday afternoon. That victim, identified as 26-year-old Christopher Rambert, of Elizabeth was also found in a car.
Prosecutors say there is currently no evidence that suggests the crimes are related.
