Philly attorney claims Obama is not U.S. citizen
An attorney from suburban Philadelphia claims Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is not a U.S. citizen and is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to postpone next Tuesday?s presidential election.
According to Phillip Berg, Obama (D-Ill.) may be a citizen of Kenya, which would disqualify his candidacy. Although Obama has released documents certifying his live birth in Hawaii, Berg says it is not the same as a birth certificate, and not a legal document.
Berg also asserts Obama should have lost his citizenship when he went to grade school in Indonesia, where they have him listed as an Indonesian citizen.
This is not the first time Berg has faced off with the Illinois senator. Obama has beaten the attorney twice; once in federal court and again in the court of appeals. Now Berg is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to step in.
?I really think it's a fraud on this country,? said Phillip Berg. ?I think it's really the greatest hoax in the history of our country.?
