Feds stop tractor-trailer with 165 lbs of Crystal Meth

Federal authorities stopped a tractor-trailer on Route 80 allegedly carrying 165 pounds of Crystal Meth Tuesday.
Investigators say they found 50 packages of drugs hidden in the cargo?s batch of limes. The street value of the seized drugs is estimated at $11 million.
Drug enforcement officials are calling it a record bust.
?This is the largest methamphetamine seizure, not only in New Jersey but in the Northeast,? says Gerard McAleer, of the S.A.C. DEA.
Alberto Olguin, the tractor-trailer?s driver, had been on the DEA?s radar since September, when he was stopped in Alabama with $1.3 million in cash. Olguin is being held at the Passaic County Jail. His bail has been set at $5 million.
