Steady downpours rock NJ

A flood watch is in effect for all of New Jersey as a downpour continues to rock the state.

While the rain will affect commuters Friday morning, Northern New Jersey may experience icy conditions making the streets very dangerous.

Highland Lakes was already experiencing the perils of winter with slippery streets and icicles hanging from power lines.

"It was all ice coming up Barnett Road,? said Kevin McKiernan. ?You have to be prepared for it up here."

Officials say the best course is to take it slow on your morning commute.
