Jury finds Zarate guilty on all counts in murder trial

The jury in the murder trial of Jonathan Zarate reached a guilty verdict Monday morning.

The jurors found Zarate guilty on all counts. The prosecution maintains that Zarate went into a rage when his neighbor, 16-year-old Jennifer Parks, apparently insulted his younger brother. Prosecutors say Zarate stabbed, beat and dismembered Parks? body. He was caught while attempting to dispose of her body in the Passaic River.

Zarate now faces life in prison.
