Bank of America ATM targeted in Mountainside

Police say a skimming device was attached to an ATM located at the Bank of America on Mountain Avenue in Mountainside.

Police say the device was removed before it was discovered and could have been in place as long as five days.

Five people have reported unauthorized activity occurring on their accounts to the bank within the past week.

One Bank of America customer said more than $3,000 was taken from their account.

Officials are urging customers to check their bank statements and report any unusual activity to the bank.
