The Nets announce move to The Rock

The New Jersey Nets officially announced their move to Newark Friday.

The Nets will play in Brick City for two years while they wait for their arena to be built in Brooklyn. The NBA team will make its official move as Cory Booker puts it "across a few rivers" in 2012.

Booker also said that he hopes the city's support for the Nets will encourage the NBA to consider Newark as a future permanent location for an NBA franchise.

The Nets say they're already getting more ticket inquiries because of the move to Newark.
