Authorities ID NJ murder-suicide victims

(AP) - Authorities say a former model fatally shother boyfriend and set fire to the New Jersey home she was rentingbefore turning the gun on herself.

Peter Warshaw Jr. of the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Officesaid Friday that the bodies of 36-year-old Carina Schlesinger and29-year-old Daniel Cresci were found by firefighters in the Holmdelhouse after the blaze was put out Wednesday.

Authorities say Cresci could have been dead for several days.His longtime friend, Scott Broschart, tells the Asbury Park Pressno one had heard from him since last Sunday.

Broschart says he was helping Cresci open a restaurant. He saysCresci and Schlesinger had been dating for about 18 months, andthat they "had their up and down moments."

Schlesinger also owned and operated the New Jersey State DogSchool in Holmdel.
