3-alarm blaze burns through Union City building

A Union City building went up in flames Wednesday.

A three-alarm fire burned through all three levels of a building on 40th Street. Firefighters say the fire hit voids in the building and that made it difficult to fight.

There were 12 people in the building, but everyone made it out OK. One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
