Somerset woman missing in Washington

A search is under way for 24-year-old Katherine Huether, of Somerset, who went missing one week ago.

Officials say Huether headed into a heavily wooded area to go hiking last Thursday, leaving her dog at home and her cell phone in her car.

The woman moved to Washington to become a forest ranger.

"We're still holding out hope Kate will come back to us alive, and we will be able to hold her and talk to her again and tell her how much we love her," said the woman's father, Robert Huether.
