New Jersey may receive aid from FEMA
FEMA is currently assessing the damage from this past weekend's storm in New Jersey.
Representatives of FEMA and the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management toured Bound Brook to take a detailed look at what the flood left behind. If FEMA categorizes the damage as a federal disaster, Bound Brook and other hard-hit areas of New Jersey could receive the monetary boost needed to recover.
The process could take weeks but home and business owners are welcoming the feds with open arms.
