Storm damage estimates adding up in NJ

As floodwaters recede, the true extent of the damage caused by last weekend's nor'easter is revealed in Bergen County.

County Executive Dennis McNerney says close to 5,000 homes were damaged, 20 of them beyond repair. Preliminary estimates show $45 million in damages throughout Bergen County.

Officials in Morris County say more than 1,300 buildings were damaged by flooding along the Passaic, Ramapo and Pompton rivers.

Somerset County officials say more than $25 million in damages were filed, $18 million in Bound Brook.

FEMA inspectors surveyed the areas affected by the flood this week.
