Residents along Passaic brace for more flooding

Residents still recovering from last week?s flood in Fairfield are preparing for another round of flooding.

The Passaic River is expected to crest for the second time in just as many weeks by Thursday. River Edge Drive in Fairfield was still being cleaned up last week. If the water level goes back up, home owners are afraid they?ll have to clean up all over again.

Residents say that they want the federal government to step in and help. So far, the federal government has not made a disaster declaration, but residents are asking local lawmakers to push for it.
