Camden Co. has hearing on Christie budget plan

The first official hearing on Gov. Chris Christie?s proposed budget cuts took place in Camden County Wednesday night.

Groups from across the state say they don?t want their funding cut. At the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, one speaker after another expressed their concerns about the governor?s budget cuts.

Those who attended the meeting were concerned about state aid to mental health facilities, family crisis and Medicare funding.

There will be many similar meetings before the final budget vote takes place in June.
