Home sales in the NJ on the rise

Real estate activity in New Jersey is on the rise, according to the latest numbers.

The National Association of Realtors says that home sales in the northeast rose 13 percent in February when compared to the same month last year. The owner of RE/MAX in Middletown says that lower home prices and tax rebates are helping to fuel the market.

The Northeast is also the only area of the country to see an increase in sales prices according to the National Association of Realtors. The median sales price in February is up 8 percent from the same time last year.
