Rain, winds continue to hit the Garden State
Heavy rains and winds yet again pummeled New Jersey Tuesday.
The storm hit as many in the state continue to recover from the recent nor'easter. Streams and rivers in New Jersey were running high, but only minor flooding was experienced. Officials and homeowners are keeping a close eye on the Pompton River, however.
News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Britta Merwin says local rivers and streams are expected to crest late Wednesday and into Thursday morning.
Motorists are urged to use caution on the roads.
