Fire breaks out in Edison home

Firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze at an Edison home Friday morning.

Edison Fire Department Deputy Chief Brian Latham said, "All of the occupants evacuated before our arrival and actually some of them were able to go up to the firehouse on the corner and alert the firefighters of the fire".

Firefighters say the fire began in the garage of the home.

No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
