Christie gets death wish from teachers group
The war of words between New Jersey teachers and Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J) is continuing due to a memo that hints of his death.
An internal e-mail from Joe Coppola, the president of the Bergen County Education Association, included a "prayer" which read as follows:
"Dear Lord this year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett, my favorite singer, Michael Jackson, and my favorite salesman, Billy Mays. I just wanted to let you know that Chris Christie is my favorite governor."
Coppola says it was meant as a joke and was not meant to be made public.
The state teacher's union has already issued an apology.
