Police captain accused of hiding whole truth

As reported on News 12 New Jersey, Capt. Wayne Yahm, with the Bergen County Sheriff's Office, is accused of not telling the whole truth about his past.

Yahm is running for sheriff in Sussex County. Yahm is also on administrative leave from his post in Bergen County. A sheriff's office spokesman confirmed that an anonymous tip to the sheriff's office led to Yahm's suspension. However, the spokesman declined to discuss the suspension any further, claiming that it was a personal matter.

News 12 New Jersey's investigation found that Yahm pleaded guilty to a DWI in North Carolina 2005. Yahm also had his license suspended.
