Tenants: Building overrun with mice, mold

Renters at an East Orange apartment building say they've pleaded with the owner to fix several problems over the last year, but nothing has changed.

Tenants say their Carnegie Avenue apartments are riddled with mold, mildew, rats and mice. In addition, residents say the front door of the building hasn't had a lock for more than a year and as a result, several apartments have been robbed.

Several residents say they have filed complaints with City Hall, but nothing has been fixed.

Calls to the building owner have not been returned.
