Ash cloud continues to cause delays for travelers

Dozens of travelers trying to get home to Europe are being forced to call Newark Liberty International Airport their home for the time being.

Some restrictions on flying are expected to be lifted as early as tomorrow morning. Some passengers, however, will have to wait until next week to return home. The ash from an Icelandic volcano has closed much of the airspace over Europe. The volcano continues to erupt and add to the ash cloud. Even though conditions have not improved, European authorities have been under pressure to reopen airspace.
