Ramsey soldier remembered by friends, family

A soldier from Ramsey, killed in Afghanistan, was remembered by friends and family at services held this weekend.

Army Cpl. Michael D. Jankiewicz, 23, died April 9 when his CV-22 Osprey aircraft crashed during a combat operation in Zabul Province.

Members of Jankiewicz's Army Ranger battalion carried his casket into St. Paul Catholic Church where services were held.

Jankiewicz will be laid to rest tomorrow at Arlington National Cemetery.
