Dog rescued from duct-taped box

An abused and abandoned dog has been rescued by Tenafly's Pet ResQ Inc.

The dog, Miracle, was found in a duct-taped box in Brooklyn. According to rescuers, the dog was severely dehydrated and emaciated. Doctors also discovered that the dog was suffering from leukemia.

Miracle is receiving care at an animal hospital in Fairfield.

Volunteers for Pet ResQ Inc. say they need to find a home for Miracle and the many other dogs they rescue.
