FBI raids Toms River BOE, superintendent's home

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents executed search warrants at the Toms River Board of Education and the home of Toms River Superintendent of Schools Michael Ritacco this morning.

Seven cars related to the investigation were parked near the home of Ritacco on 11th Avenue in Seaside Heights. FBI agents were seen removing boxes from the home and placing them into white vans.

An FBI spokesman confirmed that "operations are under way" in Toms River.
