U.S. Army Ranger from NJ killed in Afghanistan
The U.S. Department of Defense says an Army Ranger from New Jersey was killed in action Friday.
Sgt. Ronald A. Kubik, 21, was injured during a firefight in Logar Province, Afghanistan. He was a native of Brielle.
Kubik was on his third deployment with the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He is survived by his father, mother and two sisters.
