School walkouts may have been staged

High school students across the state walked out of class today to protest education cuts, but Kane In Your Corner found that some of those students may have gotten a push from teachers and administrators. A titled, "Protest NJ Education Cuts-State Wide School Walk Out," showed more than 18,000 confirmed guests for today's walk and students that spoke with News 12 New Jersey insist it was strictly their idea. However, a Facebook page for a group of parents in West Orange claims the event was scheduled after meeting with the teachers union. News 12 New Jersey also received a video that allegedly shows teachers and students protesting together.Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J) has said he is suspicious of the protests.
