Seton Hall's Pope reportedly collapses at workout

(AP) - Seton Hall forward Herb Pope hasreportedly been taken to a hospital after collapsing during anafternoon workout at the school.

The Star-Ledger of Newark reported that Pope collapsed Wednesdayand was rushed to Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

Sports information director Matt Sweeney told The AssociatedPress in a telephone interview Wednesday night "that astudent-athlete was taken to a hospital."

Citing privacy laws, Sweeney would not identify the athlete orcomment on the person's condition.

Quoting two sources, the newspaper said that Pope was undergoingtests to determine what happened.

Pope announced he was entering the NBA draft. However, he didnot hire an agent, leaving open the possibility he might returnnext season.
