Ridgewood principal urges Facebook ban

The principal of Ben Franklin Middle School in Ridgewood is urging parents to not let their children use social networking websites. In the letter, Principal Tony Orsini asked parents to shut down their children's Facebook and MySpace accounts, as well as monitor their text messages.

Orsini says the websites are damaging and that he is also concerned about children becoming victims of online bullying.
