Colts Neck students think they have fix for Gulf oil spill

A chemistry class in Colts Neck thinks it has a solution for the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The students' teacher challenged them to come up with a way that can help clean up the oil. The class says it tried various options, including pasta, matzo ball soup and antacids. The students say they found vegetable fiber is the best solution. According to the students, the fiber would repel oil from the shoreline, keep it from spreading and not harm wildlife. The teacher has submitted the plan to the Environmental Protection Agency, FEMA, and a private company in Texas for consideration.
