Water main fixed, roadway still being repaired in Hasbrouck Heights

The water main that broke underneath Route 17 South in Hasbrouck Heights has been repaired, but the roadway is still under repair.

Since the road is still being repaired, all lanes are expected to be open by tomorrow morning. The water main break forced authorities to shut down two of the three southbound lanes on Route 17 near Henry Street in Hasbrouck Heights.

The water main broke early this morning causing damage to the roadway. Emergency repair crews worked to fix the break.

Authorities hope to complete the repairs by the morning commute.
